The primary project objective is to develop a St. Lucie Regional Resilience Plan that provides a long-term blueprint for public and private sector actions that substantially advance the community-wide resilience capacity of the COUNTY and the City of Port St. Lucie, City of Fort Pierce and St. Lucie Village [MUNICIPALITIES or MUNICIPALITY]. The St. Lucie Regional Resilience Plan is essential to advance strategic goals and enhance coordinated planning efforts with the COUNTY, MUNICIPALITIES and community stakeholders to implement adaptation and mitigation initiatives that reduce risks from potential impacts of local climate- and weather-related hazards. The Resilience Plan will be developed through a robust Community Stakeholder Engagement Strategy and will be informed through the performance of data-driven vulnerability assessments. The Resilience Plan will include adaptation and mitigation strategies and prioritized projects and focus areas aligned with desired outcomes.
