Description
Under this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), the City of Glendale (“City”)— on behalf of its Public Works Department is soliciting Proposals from suitably qualified consultants (“Consultant”) to provide electronic support services. The services include a customizable and downloadable web application (collectively referred to as "the platform") which provides a database of common materials informing the user how to properly sort materials for curbside collection. This includes what materials are placed into garbage, recycling and organics collection containers and how to donate and properly dispose of household items (ex. bulky and hazardous waste); as well as a collection calendar for residential (single and multi-family) properties; and hauler contact information. The platform must also be able to accept service requests for new, damaged, or broken carts, as well as bulky item pick-ups. All information and request forms must be available on the platform.
