Description
Contractor shall provide two, two-day, in-depth, comprehensive, intensive and interactive crisis communications training for a combined total of no more than 80 participants (40 per each two day training) to local health jurisdiction Public Information Officers (PIO), partners and stakeholders on how to effectively communicate with the public and stakeholders during an emergency or disaster within a National Incident Command System Joint Information Center, Joint Information System (JIC/JIS), and is compliant with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Incident Command System framework. The Contractor must be a preferred vendor of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in order to provide this training. The Office of Communications intends to make a single contract award to the most responsive and responsible firm offering the lowest cost.
