The Town of Pound invites all qualified licensed Architectural/Engineering Firms authorized to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Virginia to submit a proposal to conduct the engineering and design work for the Church Street Landslide Remediation Project. The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the purposes of entering into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural/ Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia, with experience in creating an engineering and design plan to construct a retaining wall at the Church Street landslide location, to demolish and remove a vacant, publicly owned structure at the base of the landslide site and stabilize a private street at the top of the landslide area. Construction engineering inspection and construction administration, and design services will be included.
