Description

The Port of Long Beach Multimodal Transportation Study (hereinafter referred to as Study or MTS) will evaluate the existing and projected transportation systems that meet the needs of future Port development. The Study will focus primarily on goods movement with emphasis on safety improvements, access to proposed land use developments to accommodate different cargo types, operational and technology investments, zero-emission infrastructure needs, and pedestrian and bicycle connections, as appropriate, within the Harbor District. The Study will provide recommendations on necessary improvements and develop a detailed implementation plan.
