Congress Legacy Projects are 3-5 day pro-bono neighborhood design workshops in the city or region hosting our annual Congress. Legacy Projects are focused charrettes aimed at developing short term (9-18 month) solutions that address specific concerns. Legacy Projects focus on a range of contexts: downtowns, neighborhoods, commercial districts, or corridors. They center community engagement and participation from local stakeholders and residents; addressing topics like infill development, affordability, parks, transportation, etc. These are designed to be short, creative charrettes that give community members a sense of buy-in and progress; they are not intended to be master plans.
