Through this request for proposals (RFP), notice is hereby given that the City of Durham, North Carolina, Communications Department, is seeking a Contractor or firm to provide Spanish language assistance services to City of Durham departments on an as-needed basis. These services include interpretation and translation services upon request by designated city employees. It is expected that the candidate(s):  Use a registry that is widely understood by the Spanish-speaking community in the City and County of Durham.  Has sufficient experience in providing services, like those being solicited in this RFP, with local governments. A candidate with at least three to five (3 to 5) years of experience shall be deeded as having sufficient experience.  Has local context and cultural understanding of Durham.  Is able to provide affordable and high-quality interpretation and translation services.
