Description

The successful Contractor will assist the City in the development of a Damage Assessment Plan and a Pre-Disaster Recovery Plan. In addition, recent weather and world events have resulted in a number of new initiatives or a comprehensive re-examination of existing City programs. The Contractor will be expected to assist the City in assessing current programs and developing recommendations for refinement or additional programs to meet the intent of these initiatives. Some examples of these areas include Crisis Response, Public Health Emergencies, Animal Protection, Evacuation and Sheltering, Functional Needs Populations, Terrorism, Complex Coordinated Attack, FEMA Cost Recovery and Hazardous Materials Emergencies. The City might also ask the Contractor for assistance in meeting industry standards, such as, those of the Emergency Management Accreditation Program.
