Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) - Assessment of City Services

After a comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) process in 2021, the City of Arvada is continuing its journey to find a qualified consultant who can help the City improve and prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion in our services for all Arvada residents. The City now has a more clear direction, new objectives and specific results to achieve. We are launching a new RFP process to find a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consultant. The City has prioritized this work in our updated and approved June 2022 City Council Strategic Plan and is specifically stated in our Organizational and Service Effectiveness goals: By 12/2023 establish systems and structures to embed enhanced levels of sustainability, accessibility, equity and safety in our services and operations.
