Description

The City of Redding, hereinafter referred to as the "City," intends to secure a contract with a qualified consultant to create the first City-wide Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP). This Request for Proposals (RFP) defines the City's minimum requirements for the tasks to be completed by consultant that fall within the scope of service/project objectives as further described in Section II. The RFP aims to identify a consultant who will assist the City in completing the CWPP, including through adoption by the City Council. The City requires a CWPP to determine effective, prioritized wildfire mitigation and fuel reduction projects to be eligible for state and federal funding.
